Why did Rise at Seven choose Northern Digital?

It always has a feel-good factor when another agency asks us to rebrand their business and build a new digital environment. Agencies are picky. They live in the same world we do, they know what a lazy website looks like, and they can smell a pitch deck from the other side of a Teams call.

When another agency calls

Rise at Seven did not need us to explain what a brand is. They needed a partner who would treat their own site with the same care they give their clients — and who would not disappear into a production line once the kickoff deck landed.

That is usually why agencies hire agencies. Not because they cannot design. Because they want someone outside the building to hold the work to a standard, move quickly, and still pick up the phone. From our studio in Leeds, that is the job we like.

What they needed

The brief was a full environment, not a lick of paint. Positioning, visual identity, and a site that could carry case studies, culture, and new business without feeling like a brochure bolted onto a blog.

We started with how they talk, not how they look. Once the voice was honest, the design had somewhere to sit. Pages got room to breathe. Work led. Contact was obvious. Nothing was there to impress other designers at the expense of the people actually hiring them.

Why Leeds, why us

We are not in their office. We are a train ride away at West Pt, and most of the work happened on shared boards and short calls. That distance is useful. It keeps the relationship adult. They stayed the experts on their craft; we stayed the experts on making it show up online.

If you run an agency and your own digital home is the last thing you have time for, that is a brief we understand. We have been on both sides of it.
